Engine Number Location

Dear friends,
I have a T6 kombi 110 KW TDI (CXFA engine code) and I need to find the engine number location. I heard that it is located on the front part of the cylinder block just below the cylinder head, but I could not find it.
Your kind help would be highly appreciated.

Thank you very much, but I could not find the number. I found the sticker but not the original engine number. Do you have any idea how I can use my cell phone to take the photo of the engine number? I mean from which side of the engine I can find it easily?

As you look into the engine bay from the front. The gearbox is on the right hand side.

So look for join between The engine block and gearbox .

I'll try and take a pic tomorrow

I don't think you can as the egr cooler is mounted over it.. Might need to get out the depstech wireless endoscope..
