Essential Mods

Another one for climair here, really easy to fit, very secure and look the part. Fitted to my camper to reduce condensation overnight, can crack the window a bit. Time will tell if it makes any difference!
I found they reduce condensation overnight. We still get some but then we have internal thermal window covers and I believe that condensation is one of the pay offs with those (with external covers reducing this?). I tend to leave the top suckers off the glass so there is a gap for air to circulate into the van - this helps a lot. If I forget or if the gap between thermal cover and window gets closer then we do see more condensation.

As for blind spots people are talking about I have the light smoke Climair and these are fine to see through. Not a dark tint like some others and the shape is one smooth curve - some (maybe Heko) seem to have more of a distinct fold/crease in them and that will obscure vision when looking through them.

I think there is no diff between tailgate and barn doors. I have tailgate, however I saw no info about version anywhere so I assume are same for both.
I’ve just ordered those mud guards, did they fit easy enough with existing fixings or did you have to drill extra holes? The Veedub transporters ones needed extra holes drilled and were £45. I figured at £19 delivered they were worth a punt. I’ve got a T6.1 LWB.

Damn! Front mud guards fitted perfect, but rear guards didn’t…. Wonder if it’s someth8ng to do the barn doors or LWB. Free set of rear mud guards going if anyone wants them.
