I think the electric one swaps out the gas-strut that pops the bed back up into seat mode for a an electric linear actuator.
On the regular one you can adjust the rake of the seat back to about 4 positions using the notches on a handle under the seat:

Does the electric one still have this notched handle under the seat? Maybe @Drive Wayne can confirm.

Thermal Insulation - you're not going to get any meaningful amount under the RS rails floor-pan. But the rails are raised up about 30mm so there's a gap there to put PIR / XPS insulation down underneath your floor finish - because you'll want to raise the floor level up to near the top of the rails. I wish I had raised my floor up more to make the rails seem more flush with the floor level.
Screwfix 5mm XPS foam boards:
In this one they've raised the floor almost flush... strangely on the passenger side it seems slightly higher?
