Should be a lot easier than getting the VW remote! You'd just need to check what controller you have - there's probably either a phone app and/or a remote fob option.

Yes, thanks, I have seen the app, but my thoughts are needs a sim card it wont work without a phone signal, so would prefer just a remote fob.

So, as stated earlier in thread, my 2020 Caravelle has both aux water heater and air parking heater.
My Eber parking heater seems to use Webasto lin bus fob.

3G0963511 and 5H0963511 are different and are not compatible (I tested this).
5H0963511 is no longer made by Digades (now made by a Polish company). T6.1 from MY22 use 5H0963511 and the new receiver mentioned in the thread.
The new receiver is no longer associated with Webasto and does not have a webasto logo on it. It is confusing because the remotes look exactly the same (but inside they are different and even the caps can not be interchanged).

Also, this new keyfob, unlike in T6, can be connected to D3.
You can have 2 similar looking keyfobs turning on 2 different heaters.

Took longer to update VCDS than it did to learn the new remote!






All working from inside the van, I've yet to test the range on it!

I own a T6 Beach with the factory fitted Eberspacher Parking heater(the one that blows hot air from the right hand side B pillar). There seems to be a few owners on this forum whose remotes are unpaired or have lost it. I have seen reports on here of owners being quoted £195+ vat for the remote...

This morning I had to go into the office and it was just below freezing outside so I'd taken the remote with me into my bedroom. When I woke up around 7:15am, I switched it on (whilst still in bed) and checked on VRM as it pulled down 120w and brought the inside temp from 1 degree to 15 in an hour, and basically defrosted the entire van!

In an hour I will reach 30 degrees - the advantage of 4Kw is the quicker heat up!
I keep it set high so that the dogs and I can dry off after a walk and the entire van/windscreen is defrosted.

Mine is set at max heat for an hour on the remote activation, tbh when I was driving to work it was a little too warm inside! Had to crack open the window a little!
