Falken Wildpeak on 17 or 18" ?

It shouldn't be possible to have the same error at all speeds. The extra distance travelled will increase as a percentage so the speedo error will change too.

That's unusual. I've read a lot of these 235/65/17 threads and the only time that I recall the speed being more than 1 mph out (at high speeds) was on a 16" chassis.
okay, last post on the subject. at about 30 its actually doing 32, at 70 its about 75

Hi all,

Just as some extra info which may be useful

I find willtheyfit.com very helpful when trying to match summer/winter wheels of different diameters, together with different tyre options.

Please see image below of a stock size (235/55/17) vs the Falken Wildpeaks in 235/65/17, and also vs a 235/60/17 option, (Cooper Discoverer ATT) which is closer to stock.

"Will they fit" is a useful tool. Just don't take too much notice of the alleged speedo errors!!

Happy to have the spare as a normal (non-AT) whatever will fit best in the carrier and also keep rolling diameter close to 235/65/17 wildpeaks.

Yeah have also read alot about 235/65/17 being the limit before speedo starts undereading, maybe you were originally specced with 16s? @FerrisBFW
