As you can see struts work with my bike.
You will Ave to be careful when you open the tailgate with no bike on the rack, it will give you a serious “uppercut” if you don’t keep yr head out of the way, it flies up.
You will have to factor in the cost of the rack , plus the struts against the cost of the swing & installation.
In my case I would have gone with the swing had I known, it’s not just cus of what I said in my last post, it would save me having to fold the handlebar & seatpost as well.
