First Service Coming Up

Van is booked in for its first service next week and the guy asked anything needing looked at. Said no then afterwards had a think about it.......

When the engine is running there is a fairly loud hissing sound coming from near the nearside sliding door, underneath somewhere. Is that the fuel pump making the noise and is that normal? Should I get them to look at it when it's in?

Van still well within warranty so shouldn't be an issue if needing replaced.

Help appreciated.

The fuel lift pump is in that location.

It makes a noticable sound.... maybe ask them if the noise is normal.

Ask if they’ll start up a similar van so you can hear if it is actually normal!

Possibly Webasto engine coolant heater if outdoor temp below 5C ?
