Fitting heat pads to LIFEPO4 battery

Anyone got a link to the cheapies.

Very true.... But it's a cheap and easy feature on a BMS board....

I'd like to see some testing.
.. I might get one as they are cheap ATM.?
They now have a 200AH version with temp protection, the 100AH we have seems to be fine however for our telly & fridge requirements

Just ordered one....

£279 for 100ah and free delivery.

And grabbed a shunt too...

..
Winter soon so will be able to test the low temp protection.

Edit:

I'll be fitting in the solar shed..... Not the van.

Yes, they’re good value and we haven’t had any problems for the 2 months or so we’ve had it. Good reviews ont’internet too…

@Dellmassive. Thanks for the response. During the winter, I almost always leave the van EHU plugged in and I was thinking more that leaving the heater mat plugged into a mains outlet in the van and lying on top of the battery in a relatively small enclosed compartment would be enough to keep temperature of the space (and thus the battery) a bit above freezing and therefore enough so that the battery BMS doesn't need to switch charging off.
@srprose. Glad I'm not the only one but EHU on our drive is not a problem
