@Dellmassive. Thanks for the response. During the winter, I almost always leave the van EHU plugged in and I was thinking more that leaving the heater mat plugged into a mains outlet in the van and lying on top of the battery in a relatively small enclosed compartment would be enough to keep temperature of the space (and thus the battery) a bit above freezing and therefore enough so that the battery BMS doesn't need to switch charging off. @srprose. Glad I'm not the only one but EHU on our drive is not a problem
