OK - having blown up my little 8l fridge (more of a cooler than a fridge in fairness) by plugging the doodah on the back of it with reverse polarity (no sniggering this time @TallPaul_S ...) I find myself questioning the connection I'm using.
I've plunked for a slightly larger Halfords version which inevitably has come with a 'fag-lighter' plug - which in its purest form is OK as I have a 'fag-lighter' socket on my EcoFlow and also in the dash of the vehicle itself.
Now my gripe with those is that they a) work loose when travelling b) are prone to becoming warm - which indicates to me a loose/poor connection and c) they just generally seem a bit 'last-century'!!
I have space, access and the ability to add another socket or sockets in the rear of the driver's seat (passenger has 240v and USB's) - so rather than bunging in another 'fag-lighter' type socket, what would you recommend?
I'm thinking of a CBE type frame and socket if anyone has any recommendations.
Thanks in advance
