Front VW Badge & Grille Chrome Removal

Just black but would need new trims, I think I got mine from Van Style, £20 I think, look good too.

Take your time and it's really not too difficult.

I’ve just removed my front VW badge and replaced with Matt black version and Matt black insert. Thought I’d post top tip if it helps anyone when searching ‘how to’.
Trim tools will work but are a PITA to get started and risk denting/marking the plastic.
I taped some strong masking tape (couple of layers) to top of badge and pulled badge away from grill. Very easy then to get trim tool behind and work the badge off.
