Gas Bottle fitting in Mersey

Hi im new to this forum , after some advise , i have just bought a camper ,but the gas bottle not fitted or connected , just a ruber pipe, does anyone know anybody in the merseyside area who will fit everthing required so i can yse the hob et... thansk in advance

Is there a Regulator (a round metal thing that the rubber pipe attaches to).

Hi, I’m based in the Liverpool area. If it helps, I’ve been dealing with Wirral Custom Campers in Neston recently and they’ve been very helpful so far. They’re fitting a new pop top next week so there’ll be a review to follow, hopefully positive!

You will need something like this, presuming you are going to use Camping Gaz.

Campingaz Regulator for 901, 904, 907 Cylinders | GO Outdoors

A screw on regulator to fit all Campingaz gas bottles.

Hi it was me who was having the pop top fitted by WCC. They also carried out a service & mot and the van is back there now for an EGR replacement.

The pop top replacement is done and I’m really pleased with it, they fit Skyline roofs btw. There is one slight issue which they are looking at while the van is back with them for the other work but nothing major.

Although I’m based on the Liverpool side of the river I’ll be returning to WCC for any future maintenance as they’ve been great up to now.

That’s great to hear. I’m about to contact them for a quote on fitting a pop top. They’re only 20 minutes from me so it’s good to know I’ve got a good place down the road if needed. Which I’m sure I will!
