HELP! - Interior roof spotlights stopped working

On the switch panel, what's the middle pin for?
I have:
Top pin (vcc in?)
Middle pin -> Fuse -> (I assume the accessory) - (vcc out?)
Bottom pin (GND)

Top pin is 12v in, middle one is switched 12v out, bottom pin is -ve for the tell tale led

Many thanks for all your help, the lighting isn't on that circuit, it had it's own from the main battery!
