I'm having an issue with our 2016 T6 T28 102 camper van (87k). We went away just after Easter and the EML light came on. Using Carista I found these faults:
P010100 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance.
U100800 - Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface: Check DTC memory.
I reset the faults and carried on, but the van felt sluggish and the MPG was around 29MPG - it is usually late 30's.
Since returning, I have replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor with an identical Bosch unit and the air filter (the original wasn't too dirty but I replaced it with a Bosch).
The van now drives as expected and the MPG has improved. The EML is off but I'm still getting the two fault codes (I did reset these after replacing the MAF.
This is what Carista is reporting:
P010100 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance
Freeze frame :
Priority: 2
Malfunction frequency counter: 1
Unlearning counter: 255
Odometer reading: 87807.8 miles
Engine rpm: 1997.5 RPM
Normed load value: 0 %
Vehicle speed: 53.4 mph
Coolant temperature: 91 °C
Intake air temperature: 27 °C
Ambient air pressure: 14.65 PSI
Voltage terminal 30: 13.98 V
U100800 - Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface: Check DTC memory
Freeze frame :
Priority: 2
Malfunction frequency counter: 1
Unlearning counter: 255
Odometer reading: 87802.2 miles
Engine rpm: 1795 RPM
Normed load value: 59.2 %
Vehicle speed: 7.5 mph
Coolant temperature: 16 °C
Intake air temperature: 14 °C
Ambient air pressure: 14.65 PSI
Voltage terminal 30: 14.02 V
Can anyone help and advise what I should do next?
FYI, the van isn't a daily driver and we only use it to go away in, or at the weekends.
Thanks.
Nick
