Howdy roy. Welcome to the party
hi many thanks loving the DUBIN im getting from every one has made me feel welcome thank you
pps just looking at many accessories too add to van when i get time dont want too over load it lol
i see why you guys get bogged down buying gear for the any year Transporter toys its amazing the stuff you can do with these

Hi Every one im a new member of the T6 transporter owners club
I've been hankering after a new transporter Kombi for years
and finaly I've made the grade
im out in the open no more hideing behind my TOYOTA HILUX lol :)

so just bagged me a super nice demonstrator swb T32-102-bmt Highline Factory Kombi TDI
in Deep Pearl Black
So i traveled over 200 miles to buy it from Swindon VW why i hear you ask ??
i went too sheffield which is nearest too me 25 miles away but no joy weren't interested in private sale
i guess RAC had ordered 100+ New ones lol :)
they had used vans but with 15-25,000 miles on 1 year old ???

so i made the trip too Swindon after talking and getting info from dealer
we saw the Kombi and me and wife fell in love with it
it still had that new car smell you can never get back from new or from a aerosol
we got such a good deal we bought it there and then after my favoite hobby of haggling the dealer to death
he gave in willingly and we got a 5 month old mint 67 plate Kombi with only 600 miles on it
then the SNOW came and my new toy was snowed in for over a week so i could not collect her
but last week i made the 420 mile round trip too collect my new baby
and the drive home was beautiful and easy even through im disabled i managed the drive home
and wish i had done it years ago
so looking forward too many years of VW motoring this EURO6 Transporter T32 102 is ok for us
not the powerful toy in the VW toy box but very nice drive with power too spare
with good economy so far just tipped 1200 mles from new at mo
thanks for great welcome to your forum site looking forward too reading up on many issues and stories thanks Royboy xx
Welcome to the Club, lovely looking van too Enjoy

Hi Ladies & Gentlemen, a quick post to say hello and introduce myself.

I'm Chris, 40, 2 young kids, looking to get a newish T6 Transporter for work duties, with a view to convert it to something similar to a Cali Beach for short and infrequent, spring/summer camping weekends.

I'll try take a good look around before I post any stupid questions.

Thanks for reading!

CP

Welcome. I’ve got 15 plus T6’s for sale of all specifications. Let me know your want list

Hi, new to the forum here. Deposit paid, off to pick up our 2017 plate panel van next week. Not new to Vee Dubs as we have previously owned two Bay Window Campers, a 1975, and a rather lovely 1972 Westy (still love classic vehicles but don’t have the time to keep one on the road), a 1975 Beetle, and a beautiful LWB 04 plate T5 camper, which was sadly stolen a few years back. But, onwards and upwards. Will definitely be seeking out threads regarding conversion tips shortly. Just wanted to say hello from West Yorkshire :)

Buying a 16 plate Kombi next week. Wanting to lower not slam and new alloys.
First question- Eibach adjustable springs or Kw stx coil overs. Leisure miles not business.
Second question- any recommendations for garage in North Yorkshire?
Thanks in advance.

Any suspension upgrade that doesn’t include shocks will give very limited improvements. There are lots of kits available but many aren’t as good as their price suggests. Best advice I can give you is call a few traders ask Lots of technical questions and the answers will help you make an informed choice . What you do with the vehicle does have a bearing on the kits you should select , once you have it we look forward to offering you some sound advice . Sadly we aren’t near you even though we get clients coming from. Scotland. Kent south coast and Cornwall . We can overnight a kit to you with full installation advice and tips for a successful installation at a service center near you .

Hello all.

What a great forum, been reading for a few weeks. Finally getting our mitts on a donor van for camper conversion & thought I'd say Hi

T6 2018 102ps Startline with 50k on the clock. Hopefully a sensible place to begin. Wife chose Indium Grey over Candy White which I'm pleased about.

Next step after Mot etc will be to choose a convertor to turn it into a 4 berth with pop top, kitchen etc.

Suggestions welcome on Yorkshire based convertors & anything else - How many windows (currently unglazed barn doors)? What colour alloys? Stick with grey commercial bumpers or go through hassle of replacing/spraying?
