I have the same set up, west dubs pop top and FL c channel.I notched mine out to fit around the bracket, no way was I undoing that. Took a fair bit of faff after cutting the notch out, filing it so I got a tight fit but it slotted in tight against the pop top bracket and I secured the end at the rear with a self tapper. really solid and I doubt the awning puts that much strain on it anyway even in windy conditions. If it ever stops raining I will take some pics.I have a west dubs pop top on mine, and just received the funky leisure c channel rail.
Looking at everyone's fitting options, cutting out around the bracket seems like the easiest option, however the bracket on mine takes up a lot of the channel, I don't know if it'll be too weak after taking out so much mounting space.
Would that still work, or should I look at removing the strut brackets and mounting underneath? (Any issues with alignment doing that?)

Put my mind at ease, that's a job for next (hopefully drier) weekendI have the same set up, west dubs pop top and FL c channel.I notched mine out to fit around the bracket, no way was I undoing that. Hi,Hi, just followed everyone's instructions on here and got a hidden rail installed, thanks for all the posts.
Just wanted to give people a bit of a heads up if your pop top bolt is really close to the roof and you need to cut the metal (tried dremeling it out to no avail) that it does still work. Just use bonding glue on all parts of the back part that has no bolts.

Hi, just wondering if you had any joy with fitting yet, as I have exactly the same set up issue. I’m considering mounting underneath the whole bracket because there is no way cutting every thing out to fit round is going to work. But I’d love to know which direction you’re thinking of heading. TIAI have a west dubs pop top on mine, and just received the funky leisure c channel rail.

I went for the cut out option, sikaflexed into place used the OEM bolt at the front, and ended up using a rivet at the rear. Had the awning attached last week with no issuesHi, just wondering if you had any joy with fitting yet, as I have exactly the same set up issue.
