ThanksLast year downsized from a beautiful panel van conversion to my SWB T6.1. I did so mainly because of parking problems (both height and length) but if you are certain that height barriers are not going to be an issue then go for it.
Because I don't miss the massive storage capacity of my other van, or the shower, or the 6' long sofa which I could lay on during the day, or the vastly superior 12v system but I DO miss not being able to stand up unless I raise the pop top.
Thanks @Ads_Essex they are useful conversations, I had looked through them before making my own thread as they probably weren't quite answering the questions I had. Thank you. These threads may help, if you haven’t seen them already:

High top conversion instead of pop-top?
Has anyone had a Hightop put on a T6 LWB? We’re thinking of having an Ergoline Hightop put on ours instead of a poptop. We’ve had enough of putting top up and down in our current van, and want to try a permanent Hightop on our next van.www.t6forum.com

Change pop-top to high-top
I have a VW T 6 Campervan SWB, with a pop top. I want to change it to a Remio hard hi top. Has anyone done this. Do you know anyone in the Gloucester area that could fit this. Many thanks for your help.www.t6forum.com
