Hilo and Reimo 3000 or uberbus flux

Hi all, did anyone manage to get some pics of their finished beds on rails, just going through the same process now and could do with some inspiration. Thanks

Reimo Variotech 3000 at various stages of installation. At the back, the threshold needs to be trimmed. At the side, I used a Caravelle step with long clips and some packing. I can get bikes in the back easily with the seat slid fully to the front, and with the 1155 bed I can still get a decent 65L fridge down the side (not a Dometic).

Since I’ve had it, I’ve slid it back and forth regularly, depending on what combination of people/bikes/stuff I’m carrying. Very easy to move, no fiddly handwheels or grovelling to lock it in place.

That's great thank you

What do you want to know?
Looking forward inspiration pics. Have a swb 4motion with Hilo roof. Need to get seats and really want the rib on a slider. Working out if it is worth spending g the money on that. Have 2 boys 8 & 9 and would prefer them up near us for travelling.

Tbh, you don’t gain much by having a sliding bed in a SWB. They come into their own in a LWB. It could be a lot of money for not much benefit. That said, the Variotech is very comfy to sleep on.

I'll agree with that. Always used a Reimo Variotech in the various LWB vans that we have owned.

Remember that's a LWB.

if getting a fixed base bed (Rib) is it best to get with the sliding action or not. What are everyones thoughts?
