Ok, so the popular Dometic ACX40 will draw power all the time it's running because it has no thermostat on DC. So technically in low ambient temps in would eventually freeze?
Why does the power draw change in hotter conditions, is this just a reaction to the heat transfer? Could I timer be fitted to turn the unit on and off at regular intervals or is this idea just counter productive?
