Ignition fuse has blown [Resolved]

You might try a BCU reset by disconnecting the starter battery and touching the leads together to discharge the BCU then reconnect and test again.

Did you or the RAC guy try this? Remove battery neg clamp then remove pos clamp then touch them together for a few seconds then attach pos then neg back to battery.
Also try the 2nd key if you have one.
Let us know how you get on.

I did try second key but was to no avail and regards the battery I did also try this but I don’t think I did it for long enough, but it’s at the garage now after some serious wrestling with no power steering I will keep people posted with out come tomorrow

Just done some more digging and came across a very interesting diagnosis, could this be pcm relay fault so I’m not getting no power the ignition and no start. Any thoughts?

Yes fuses box is in a very strange place and can’t get to them very easily or even see them very easily. Luckily for me we found out it was just a fuse in the wrong hole so all good

You’re definitely not the first to do that.
A photo before and after is a good quick reference no matter how careful the fuse change.

I agree with DXX, I think taking a few pictures of any thing you work on or disemble is good insurance for when things don't go as planned.

Yes very true and noted I have now taken pictures and videos of all the fuses. Just want to say a massive thank you to all that has commented this forum really does help with people new to these vans.

Have you taken any fuses out to check them or maybe to piggyback an ignition live for your new head unit, check they are all in the correct place. if you can see a metal terminal each side in an empty slot there should be a fuse in there.
;)

Good reminder - next time I am working on the van I am going to take a picture of the under dash fuse box for reference.
