I couldn't find any info about FEC / SWaP here on this forum, so I decided to post a little bit.
Obviously FEC is Feature Enabling Code and SWaP is Software as Product.

This is the list of my available features:




And this is the list of my installed features:




So I already have the following active:
30000 - USB
40100 - Navigation
50000 - Bluetooth
60100 - Vehicle Interface
60200 - Car-Net
60300 - Mirror-link /App-Connect
60800 - Apple Car Play
60900 - Android Auto
70200 - Voice Control
70400 - Electronic amplifier for driver
9400008 - Map of Europe

And available for activation are:
60400 - Performance Monitor/ Sport HMI
7400004 - Map ???
8400002 - Map ???
9400003 - Map ???

These are the products that I am familiar with but I am more than happy to be corrected

I wonder what experience others might have?
Has anybody purchased any of this codes from the stealers?
Cost? Activation/Installation? Satisfaction/Opinion?

How do I establish that?

Hold your menu button for a couple of seconds and have a look through your available list.
By the way you can check your active features as well.

This has come up - I’ve got loads of sub-menu’s.. none of which look like yours with the numbers beside them.

In some cases you may need to activate developer mode with VCDS in adaptations under Infotainment.

I’ve pressed and held it for 10 seconds and hear a ‘bong’ but nothing changes other than the menu that I photographed, so I guess I need VCDS. No worries mate, cheers.

40100 - Navigation
9400008 - Map of Europe
50000 - Bluetooth
30000 - USB

I am still curious what this FEC does ----> 60100 - Vehicle Interface (I have it on my active list)
Also I have available for activation this one ---> 60400 - Performance Monitor/ Sport HMI
Does this mean that we could display vehicle data, like Golf/Passat?

I would like to check mine also but I'm having a problem enabling developer mode (located in Information Control Unit 5F) using OBD11.
When trying to activate developer mode I'm getting function not available, any ideas?

Edit - Figured it out.... not 100% how but have.

Installed codes

00040100 - valid Navigation
09400008 - valid Map of Europe
00050000 - valid BT
00030000 - valid USB
00060200 - valid CarNet

So I need 00060700 for Android Auto
