Is this tyre damage an MOT fail ?

Its either a forum where people feel comfortable to ask a question or it isn't
Oh, just noticed you posted a wanted ad for Devonports on 15th June so maybe you knew you needed new tyres?

A quick and reasonably priced solution is to do what I did and track down a brand new set of Devonports with new tyres removed from a van that's being converted on ebay (or here) they are easily found between £400 and £500 that's less money than the 4 tyres you will be getting with them are worth. And a bonus of new alloys too.
Been there and done that, twice!

Hi All

Thanks to all for your advice and comments - it passed the MOT which is a relief but don't worry already in the process of getting new tyres. The kerbing has obviously been an issue London driving with extremely high kerbs once by me a few times by my wife. This isn't now an issue as we are both much more aware of the kerb outside the house and reverse in.

as above and per previous post looking to get some new Devonports from the forum and thankful for the PM's received

spare tyre was nicked in a car park and one of the retaining bolts - looking to buy a new retaining bolt for the spare and one of those spare wheel locks

always grateful to the forum and hoping to take on some extra work to sort out cash flow issues.

Thanks

Just a small side note moving forwards, when discussing damage/kerbing/anything bad we did to the van as a rule, always blame the wife and never confess anything !!
