Cheers so from what I can work out

the basic one doesn’t have in built nav (not an issue for me I think I prefer using CarPlay)

The middle one has built in nav

The top one is one of the ones that looks like it’s an additional screen rather than factory fit head unit

I’ll try to give you a call next week just need to decide if I’m going to do comfort dash myself if so I might as well fit the stereo too or if I need to get one company to do the dash and you to do the stereo
 
The dmx8019dab is a superb unit with good , screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, Dnx9190dab is the top of the range, hd screen, Garmin, wireless etc etc

and the 9720xds is a tablet design, HD screen with wireless
 
Hi @Absolut5 I have a 2017 T6 Highline which has a Kenwood DNX516DABS.
I was told from the dealer when I bought it 2nd hand that this was a factory upgrade. The DAB is awful and the whole experience is very laggy.

Please can you Pm me a quote for the DMX8019DAB and any extra's I might need. I have factory reversing sensors, MFSW but no rear camera. It's also converted to a Camper if that changes anything. Also can you tell me if I could wire my YI dashcam into the headunit? Finally would the DMX8019 have improved DAB reception or do I have to accept that it will always be pants. .

The 516 was a dealer upgrade, not really a factory upgrade..

Does the dash usb work? Doe sit have a stick on dab aerial on the windscreen ?

If it using the factory dab aerial in the mirror, then the reception is going to be poor, but led lighting, usb powered devices can all affect reception.

Hi @Absolut5 , the dash usb doesn't work, there is two usb wires in the glovebox one marked iPod. No Dab on the screen either, I think it's the mirror aerial.

The only USB connected is the dash cam but DAB was rubbish when I picked it up, when it was a basic van with no dash cam.

The only way to get Great reception is by using a roof aerial like a sharkfin (as long as you don’t have a poptop)

All our headunits come with a dash usb retention kit,

The 516 is a poor unit, slow, bad screen. The 8019 or 8020 has a capacitive screen, brighter. Clearer,and responsive, wireless Apple CarPlay/android auto, fast OS, and intuitive

@Absolut5 Unfortunately we do have a poptop. Please could you quote me for either the 8019 or the 8020 and anything else we might need. Is there much difference between the two units. I think I understand the 8020 is the 2020 model?
 
Hi @Absolut5 I’d also be interested in the price for everything I would need for my T6 highline, I’ve rear parking sensors but no camera. Could you please also separately add on how much it would cost for the reversing camera. Cheers
 
Hi @Absolut5 I have just moved from a Nissan NV200 to a 2019 T6 Kombi Highline and have removed my Kenwood DMX-7017DABS from the NV200 before selling it.


Is a great little head unit and with my AA Wireless Bix it gives me wireless Android Auto, but I am unsure if this will be worthwhile to fit into the T6 as I don't know if it will support the rear parking sensors?

Any advice on this? If it does support this feature are you able to supply a full fitting kit with everything I require?

We can supply a interface to display the parking sensors and work with audio controls on the steering, plus facia, fm adapter, dab aerial adapter and dash USB retention kit

Hi @Absolut5, so it seems you are the one to speak to about all things audio. Can I ask you to pm me a price for everything I would need to put in the DMX8020? Van I am looking to purchase this week has MFSW, think it has front and rear parking sensors but not sure about reverse camera (would like one so please can you quote for with and without?). Van is a Tech Highline.

It’s for a 2018 Trendline T6 with Composition Colour (DAB, Bluetooth and USB), rear sensors but no MFSW or cameras. I’d also be interested in how much extra it would be to add the rear camera and also to supply just the connection kit without the head unit. Thanks
