Leisure battery info for a newbie like me!

Hi I'm looking to buy a leisure battery for my T6. I'm not planning on using multiple appliances all the time just basics such as lights and possibly a travel kettle etc. I've looked at a vatra 90 ah 12v would this be sufficient for that type of use? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi all. Totally new to this camper van life. We picked up our 2016 T6 today and have a question around the leisure battery.

1. How do you know when to charge it ?
2. When you are hooked up to electric. Assuming you need to turn the leisure battery on?

All the gear.. no idea

We need to know more about your van - they aren’t all the same.
Tell us more - who built it, got any photos, etc etc.

Hi thanks Pete.
It was converted by imperial camper conversions. Its a 2016 plate t6 highline LWB 2ltr tdi.

Attached some pics !

When not charging you can check the level by just turning the panel on and selecting the L battery but its not very accurate!

Roughly how much would a leisure battery setup cost, installed by an electrician/garage? With the battery setup being a split recharge and including the installation of a couple of usb/plug sockets, and ready for a solar panel setup, but not including solar panel (will need to spread the cost so buy the panels another year).

Would the fact that I have insulation and led ceiling lights in my T6 make the price higher as they would need to work around/incorporate the existing wiring setup? If so would it be better to go back to the seller (private dealer) to get the electrical work done as they would be familiar with the setup?

I got a price for a similar set up about 3 years ago from a converter in Warrington, I think it was about £1500. Could be near 2k by now.
