They look good in the photos! I suppose any disparity of colour will be hidden as the panels are low inside the cab. I am ordering the Titan black bits for mine slow time as I can afford them.

There’s another thread regarding Buzzweld, apparently it doesn’t take abrasion and scuffs.

Seen all that @DXX but i dont think any of them used a primer as it is marketed as PIO meaning paint in one ie no primer needed but i used their plastic primer anyhow and am hoping that it improves durabilty. Yes @Keefff i would probably have just bought the bits if i had a standard dash

OK, I hope it works out well, please keep this thread updated as I was considering using myself but was put off by the durability.

I need a solution to get my lower B post plastics to Titan black, so keep us informed. I understand these can’t be bought for a std Transporter, so looked at stretch carpet or glue on leather covers. I think this paint looks the tidiest option though.

Hi,
I've just brought a 19 plate transporter shuttle and the only downside is the inside door cards are cream.
I have 2 bully dogs in the back and the doors just show up any marks when i take them out.
So the only thing i can think of is to change the door cards for darker ideally from the caravelle .
If anybody comes across any selling i'm the guy who will have them.
Thanks

hi mate swapped all mine on a t5 shuttle- when I put in a caravelle floor/seats had to trim some off shuttle panels floor thicker on velle-think caravelle panels will leave a gap on floor- is it lwb or swb and are you wanting all panels or just doors

Hi,
It’s swb, it’s just the door cards. Thanks

I’m just about to start this journey... I was going to get the door cards second hand but they all have marks and scuffs which isn't ideal. So I have set my local VW the task of sourcing all the parts! Wish me luck!

I’ve already got the comfort dash. So I only need the lower parts Like the wine cooler and those other disgusting colour parts along with either the caravelle leather/fabric or the shuttle black door cards. I’ve seen the parts list above but I’m unsure if that has other bits on that I don’t actually need! Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or I could send VW that and just send back what’s not needed.

converted mine earler this year firstly by sourcing the VW part numbers on threads on this forum. to change the glove box, centre comfort dash with wine cooler and the trim under the steering wheel cost around £800. I sourced the door cards with the material inset fro T5 Cotswold. not cheap but they are un marked. some on the bay were quite badly damaged for the price asked. combined with the Van x upper glove box and the instrument surround & radio surround painted gloss black to match really transforms the cabin. good luck

Also try Richard @ Kernow Conversions (07738 538073)

I've just got a T6 Caravelle card from him to replace a T5 one from Cali Campers. Richard can supply the T6 cards, which are slightly different to the T5 version. My T5 card was always coming lose and rubbing on the rear quarter, the T6 card fits like it should.

Too much to wrote up a build thread now. Ill sort it another time.

But to answer this thread. VW officially call it Mouldy Ass beige. I hate it. Shows scuffs and stuff.

If you're willing to part with just over £1k in parts alone you can do the caravelle gloss dash parts and the Shuttle lower panels and door cards.

I have all the part numbers.

Basically all of the lower panels from the Shuttle directly fit the panel van. No modifying at all. The door cards are a straight swap. The caravelle door cards differ with leather in the middle and silver trim and a different design around the upper storage. The caravelle door cards are about £110 more than the shuttle ones.
I went for the shuttle ones.

One thing that doesnt fit though is the lower B pillar trim. The shuttles are taller and wider.

Steve @ Edge Automotive are trimming me the headlining, visors, pillars and associated plastics and ill get Steve to trim the panel van lower b pillars now. Also some new black alcantara/leather seats as the red leather is out of my T5 and it old now.

In my opinion its how VW should offer highline panel vans. So much better. I actually use the upper glove box now. My Vw manual fits in there and customer invoices.
Hi mate, how simple is it to fit the upper glove box on the standard dash? Is there much cutting involved or is it just a straight swap of vents and glove box?

@Owen1664 I fitted all upper dash (OEM comfort style in gloss black) to my standard dash, but not the upper glove box. The OEM radio surround centre vents panel is a straight swap. The outer vents require cutting underneath/bottom edge a strip of about 90mm by 5mm (an easy cut, that can’t be seen if you hack it!). The instrument surround only needs trimming at bottom right edge (similar to Rh vent - again can’t be seen). I mixed this with the Van-x glove box and wood effect centre dash trim, it looks ok (see pic).

@Owen1664 Here’s a couple pics of my RH vent before the cut and ruler covering to show what it needs to be cut back to to fit!

Yeah it looks great, what was your USB solution for apple car play ? Rewire from the back of the HU to a new port ? This does look good but I dunno if my OCD can handle Piano black trim. I am good at caring for it but its when a passenger gets in and starts rubbing it giving the “this looks nice”
