I think it’s well proven that is not the case. DSD do market an empty DPF (off road use), the cynic in me says they have a batch sat in a shed to shift.Sorry for reviving an old thread... But just wondered if mapping out the EGR has affected the DPF regenerations at all? Darkside reckon this can't be done if you still have the DPF installed or it will clog. These coolers seem really unreliable and I suspect mine has gone, so cost aside seems wise to map it out but I'd prefer to keep the DPF.
That said they also specialise in re-mapping, if the map is for higher output that requires a higher gas flow due to increased fuel consumption. The stock DPF isn’t designed for this capacity.
