The Ctek will only tricle charge the starter battery if the solar is hooked up to it directly and the leisure battery is full.
So if you have EHU charging the second/leisure battery once it is full and the Ctek see's it full, if the solar panel is hooked up to the Ctek it will direct flow/charge to the starter battery.
That's the way you need to have it hooked up. If you have a separate controller managing the solar the Ctek wont do it's job.
Another option is to connect your EHU to your starter battery. That way when you connect to EHU, the CTEK will see the starter battery go over the trigger voltage and charge the leisure at the same time. I don’t have EHU but have connected an external charger in this way to test and it works fine.
