MFD Dash display probs [Resolved]

Hi everybody,just joined forum and it is a mine of info out there,some very technical minded people on this site. So here goes
My t6 dash between speedo and rev counter,shows the van picture to show if any doors open,so far so good, start engine up and the settings pop up and dont go away,tried reset ,back button,no change,it says settings can only be changed when van stopped! But cant get normal info back up . Help

Do you have a Multi-function steering wheel? if you do then you press the right-hand side menu button, else you use the menu button on the stalk.

Buttons are on the steering wheel..

The silver button on the right should scroll through the menus.

Will put some pics on Friday, thanks for fast replies,just to add, had ovano bed system fitted Tuesday,its excellent can really recommend it if you are looking at it.

pushing the arrow buttons on the right side of the wheel should move the selection over to another screen ?

Tried that no joy,shows adblue range, phone,navigation,radio station,still same problem,settings stay on,Think disconnecting battery may help,or make it worse..

Thats what its supposed to show, you choose which one to leave it on and then can go up and down within those menus to choose different aspects ?

What are you looking for ?
What is it not showing ?

it showed the info that is in the mfd settings,speed direction,etc.but not how it looks on picture.!

So are you saying that you can not navigate away from the settings page when the engine is running

or

are you saying that you can not display the picture of the van when the engine is running (This is normal)

Are your buttons working, can you move up and down in the settings page. Check in MFD Data menu and make sure the screens you want to see are ticked.

Al buttons work,can move up and down and screens are ticked..!

Sounds like the silver left and right button may be faulty then. Do you have access to VCDS or maybe someone local to you with VCDS who could test the buttons?
