It’s on and it works! Rack can be fitted and removed with it in place so it was a success.

Paint shop painted and bonded it on. I added a bead of Tiger Seal along the back edge as I didn’t like the sound of a little gap being there - wind noise etc.

I’m very pleased with it for a mostly DIY effort.

As you said, towbar racks are a pain to store, plus it would make my lwb even longer! you've inspired me! its a scary thought, but I might remove and cut up my color-coded spoiler

I’m surprised no one’s making these… I’m still trying to work out what to do… knacker up a perfectly good spoiler as my diy is not great… buy a stupidly expensive ABT spoiler- not unless I win the lottery.
Or go without a spoiler …. ???
