Mysterious Thing

Hi All

Any idea what the below is? It's on my driver's side, behind the b-pillar, next to sliding rear door. T6.1. it may have an "F3" symbol of types on it but it's very hard to see.

I've used Google lens, looked on the forum and others but can't seem to locate.

Microphone?
Ultrasonic alarm sensor?

Has it got wires going to it?

I can see a small piece of what looks like metal, almost the size of a biro pen end behind the cap.

I got the van 2nd hand and it's been renovated since but somehow I've only just noticed it.

I did discover an old tracker wired in behind the dash when having some work done. Wonder if it's part of an alarm system that's no more?
