NEC Feb 2023 (was 2022) - The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show

Watching the show on 5+1 now. How did that paddle boarding couple actually transport their boards ?
Did I miss something ?

Pete
The boards inflate, they are kept in a small holdall bag. So presume under the rock and roll or in the rear.

I'm guessing that the C5 show was filmed on the media day at the beginning of the week, I've watched both shows and judging by the amount of people in the background it certainly wasn't filmed during a normal public day, I was there yesterday and it was heaving.
I saw them filming on both Tuesday and Wednesday. My first time at the show, so wasn't sure what to expect re crowds, but I was surprised how quiet it was on both days. I guess that must be down to the reduced capacity, as I believe all days were/ are sold-out.

On the off chance  that anyone has 2 tickets for Sat or Sun, please let me know and I'll have 'em.

If I sold my current van I could just about do it but it would leave me pretty much skint, so for the moment it's a lottery van. My next van will be a Crafter/MAN but won't be a LWB due to lack of a big enough parking space at home.
I wasn't meaning to pry into your financial situation - I just wondered if you could spend £120k on a camper, would you? I certainly didn't set out with the intention of spending anywhere near that amount, but once you start down the "camper conversion journey" it's not that hard to imagine that the final spend could be somewhere close!!

Well that was a waste of time, traffic from Poole to Brum was horrendous all the way as far as Oxford where we gave up and found a nice pub with rooms in Fairford.

Maybe next year…

We came home this morning…traffic on M40 was pants too. Think you made the right call to have a night in a pub instead!!!

Too true! We stayed up on Thursday evening, did the show on Friday and stayed up that evening too! (For a show that is 90 minutes away!!!)
