Need more light

I've been doing some driving in France recently and need recommendations for uprated bulbs. Im pretty sure im going to order some OEM protectors that have the pre marked beam converter pattern. The stick on ones i put on must have been blocking so much of the light which didnt help.

Without having to pay for new headlamps id like to know what the best upgraded bulbs i could buy to give better light than the orangy glow of the standard H4/H7s

Hi,

It is always helpful to give some details of you vehicle. Do you know what you have H4 or H7 that sort of thing. Then someone might be able to give you a specific answer for your vehicle. If you psted an image of your front end then that might suffice. I am sure that then some one could better advise. As it is all I can suggest is look for something like 150% brighter. I am not sure what bulb is the flavour of the month right now. Auto Express often do reviews on bulbs and other equipment.

I have 2016 T6 Kombi.
Im pretty sure it has the H7 bulbs, but then i also read H4 for Dipped and H7 for main beam. Having never replaced the bulbs im not sure what ill find once i get in to replace them so just looking for general recommendations.

Looking at your avatar, they appear to be H4 lights. The DRL on yours will be a large square reflector near to the grille.

Changing bulbs ones self is ridiculously awkward unless some one has OEM LED however I believe the above widow shows how it can easily be achieved?? You could follow my advice at the end of the thread above and buy bulbs at Halfords and then accept their offer to fit them!
