New brake rotors and pads uneven rotor wear.

Can someone please point me in the right direction on this? I just replaced my front brake rotors and pads, tried to bed them in and drove about 100km's since then now my rotors look like this on both sides! I have done everything how it is supposed to be done, used the workshop manual and various youtube videos. all went well replacing the parts. I tried searching online but cannot find a similar problem. It seems only the top half of the rotors on both sides are touching the pads.

Have you got the large front brakes? Looks like you’ve got normal size discs where you should have the 340mm discs.
Big brakes are usually on the biturbo or 4 motion versions I think. Mine biturbo certainly has them.
If you have 17” Devonports and they only just miss the caliper then you’ve got the larger brakes.
That’s all I can think of.

Thanks for your reply, that is however not the case. same rotors as came off the van. (308mm) I do not have a t32 or 4motion or biturbo or anything special, just a t28 camper conversion.

Presumably you gave the calipers a scrub with brake cleaner and cleaned/relubed the guide pins...?

Yes - but I didn’t fit the spring clip properly
Anyway… I refitted and now they are wearing fine. Picture showing my error below for anyone else who makes the same mistake!
