Hi all ( great forum ) so I have had my 2018 T6 204 DSG 77k miles about 4 months now, the engine light has come on , code = P0401 egr insufficient flow. I. Know this has been covered a lot so apologies . I do have a warranty wise warranty so hope that helps. My question is - do I push to get the egr replaced or just cleaned out ? I know the pipes are a failure also so they will probably need doing , they seem fiddly. Who’s the go specialist in Norfolk or Suffolk please for this works ? Ps I seem to be using no coolant but do use a bit of oil .
Thanks

If I remember correctly by reading some of the posts on the forum, they'll try and do a certain amount of EGR cleans before replacing it (probably hoping that your warranty runs out before they have to replace it).
If you burning oil, that might result in a certain amount of clogging.
How much oil?

Hi, it’s used almost a litre in about 1200 miles !
I thought cleans first but probably best to just replace along with the pipes that always fail
