Next “All In Plan” offer… Any idea?

I had a rear ABS sensor changed recently under All-in (saving £462).
That’s good because mine needed one of those but I had to wait 30 days for the warranty to kick in ( I let the all in lapse while I waited for the discount offer to renew) but since then the error has not come back again (yet)

Is the all in plan worth it at this price? Seems decent but not sure what a service would cost at a non VW dealer. Mine is just going out of warranty and due service and MOT, so tempting.

Fyi... I just had a 3yr, 23000 mile oil inspection (small service) at a local independent VW specialist... £222. No idea if that's reasonable or not, but the garage has a good rep

Ok so probably 500-550 quids worth for the 2 services at non VW prices, 100 maybe for the roadside, so i guess it comes down to the warranty. I think the peace of mind of having one for another 2 years might sway me!

Yes the warranty, plus 2 x MOTs, and the ‘VW’ service history. While it’s discounted seems a good deal. We just signed up our 20 plate.

The EU breakdown cover for 2 years could be considered worth a bit more than £100? (If you’re traveling)

You may be right I haven’t checked equivalent prices tbh.. I’ve taken the plunge anyway as I think the peace of mind is worth it and my local VW van centre is actually pretty good and havent found unnecessary things to do last 2 services

You can work out the value for yourself.

Price of the oil.

0.6hrs labour.

And VAT on top.

The price you've paid is about par for a dealer or specialist. Fred in a Shed might be a bit less by virtue of lower labour rates, but probably not enough to justify bothering.

I have the all in plan (and a similar deal on the nearly new Skoda we bought) and I think it’s well worth the piece of mind for me (ask dell massive on the value of the warranty alone).

I think if you want independent service and pricing then you are missing the point, it’s about peace of mind, one stop shop etc.
