No continuity between main battery +ve and OEM split charge relay. Could it be this cable?

Typo?? Do you mean REDARC ?
nope;) I'd go for Victron over both of your options. Ctek used to be the dogs, but their customer service, quality & tech leave much to be desired of late. I've no experience of Redarc, I think they're australian, but could be mistaken. Victron are the current benchmark until something better comes along.

Ah. Ok. Understood. Just reading thru some of Dellmassives threads and he mentions Victron too. Good selection on 12Volt Planet and I get trade discounts so I’ll go shopping . Thanks for confirmation

Right now my recommendation would be the Victron Orion XS - compact, runs cool especially if down rated in software (which you'll want to do with a lead acid LB) and good future expansion to LiFePo

If you can find a good price on a CTEK they're still quite capable as a drop in for the SCR and there is a thread on here where @r00ps just opened up the SCR terminals to do a minimal install (if you have a 6.1 with the bolt terminal SCR):

But if you're doing more install work or have an eye to going LiFePo when your current LB is end of life (and you probably should) then go Victron.

Thanks for replies. All stuff to consider. TBH I won’t be adding anymore ‘electrical’ appliances. (As above just the Fridge and Lights off the LB) with anything else catered for by the Powerbank. I did consider all that before I specced the van hence why - with advice from the Forum, I got the OEM LB as it was a ‘cheap’ option. I’m not that bothered about Lithium at present. I’m sure the AGM will suffice. I do ‘ fancy’ the Victron gear, looks ‘premium’ ( I’ve actually got a Victron ‘Battery Protect’ to fit when I fit the DC to DC and the seat comes out), but after reading @r00ps thread ( which first started all my research and trawling through the threads), the ease of install in my T6.1 really, really appeals. It will ‘do’ Lithium in the future but as I say for now I’m sure AGM is fine. (Unlike him I’d whip off the lugs and put bigger ones on as I’ve got some and a crimper too). I like the fact it’s all one ‘plug and play’ unit and will Trickle the SB too with Solar and MPTT built in.
