HMRC are most elusive when asked this question. You need to ask them for an answer and record the details of who you spoke to and when you called them. I suspect that they will struggle to give an answer and say they will call you back. They won't. The best I got to a written question was 'treat it as you see appropriate'. They haven't got a clue either, and are not very motivated having had their botties bitten red raw by austerity measures.
