Parking Charge Notice - advice please

Before you do anything head over to Free Traffic Legal Advice - Index and get some proper advice. It's very unwise to ignore these as many of the operators will take you to court.

It's also really important what wording you choose to use, sometimes identifying the driver gives them more leverage...shouldn't be an issue if you weren't there at all but you should get guidance on the wording to use when you do contact them - it can make the problem go away much much quicker

Result - PCN has been cancelled

put 2 challenges in
1. I wasn't at the place suggested plus sent google images of the car park they referred to
2. The notice was outside of the 14 day notification period

thinking further there were other potential challenges
3. the signage says £70 - cheaky barstewards wanted £88
4. the signage shows a symbols for an electric car ie a car with a lead and plug, could argue the inference is that the sign re parking wholly in a bay only refers to EVs
5. Where I parked could be deemed a bay albeit it doesnt have a white T applied but equally doesnt say it isnt a bay or no parking

anyway they got a lot wrong IMO, lesson learnt re my preferred spot over the last two years which will be no more
