Ply Floor - Glue Or Screw

Track seats are different, not sure what seat you have there but if they are Unwin rails it's likely they are fitted after the floor as they overlap the floor. Can't quite tell from the image. Tracks we fit are taller and give enough space for insulation etc if needed
STIDE seats/system. There's plenty of room between track and ridges. In one photo I place a section of 12mm plywood underneath.

I see that, but you are limited in height based on the tracks as they overlap the floor (I presume as can't quite see on photo). Typically the floor and tracks are fitted in conjunction. For yours we would have fitted flooring to correct height, then set the rails in and fix down accordingly so the tracks overlap the floor You won't be able to fit one piece floor under the track in the middle, only in-between the tracks. I'm talking ideal here to ensure there are no gaps between floor and tracks, you may be able to get it all in but will not be in the best order in my opinion.

Will the glue you use adhere to Dodo insulation?
Yes but strength is then dictated by the dodo/floor bond. We do it if requested but caveat that were not responsible if it the dodo lets go from the floor..... It may never do this but when we bond anything down it's direct to ensure a correct bond

Look at 2nd video here, you see they fit the floor first as I suggested above.

One question. What benefits do you lose not sound deadening and insulating underneath flooring? Maybe a dumb question but just glueing to batons is enough? There's not going to be condensation or anything? Better air flow if gap left empty?

It will be slightly noisier I suppose but the floor is bonded to the metal and will therefore deaden it to an extent. Been doing it this way over 15 years and not once had a problem. I think people overthink insulation in vans, don't forget that half of the van is not insulated (windows). It's your call, I'd rather know the floor is fixed properly

I appreciate your time responding. I agree with you on the overthinking of the insulation.
