Well, I got lucky as that price for a 10'x5' sheet was for a pack of 50, but they honoured it anyway
Big thanks to some lads from RES for stepping in with a circular saw when I was failing with a handsaw. Just my luck that the machinist at the timber yard was on holiday.
For reference, even cut down to 2500mm (x 1525mm), fitting a sheet in a SWB relies on a short legged driver and a swivel seat
I can't decide which way to cut this one piece floor, the strength around the step would be good, and low traffic where the furniture will one day be, or traditional and have a loose step and n/s/r odd piece?
I’m no expert but I would definitely say Strength round the door. I believe the “one-piece flooring“ That you can buy pre-cut Have an odd little piece by the rear wheel arch.
Please get other opinions though!
I managed to pick up a big offcut of phenolic ply from these guys for a tenner. They do a lot of contract lining and can cut (cnc router) one piece floors.

Took this picture for reference of the difference between the full height rear quarter panel and the lower rear quarter panel. And also note that the rear quarter panels are entirely symmetrical from nearside to offside

Just to wrap this one up... I went one-piece on the nearside, including the step, and the two infills on the offside where I expect to fit furniture and they will have no footfall
I’m trying to find a supplier who sells ply panels that will cover the top half of the rears. Unsuccessfully, so anyone found any? Otherwise where in the Manchester area can I get the right standard ply to try to make my own. Thanks in advance.
