Had a minor issue with my van, minor in the sense that its currently "manageable". A very varied points in a journey I get minor juddering going on, as if the van wants to be in the gear below, even though its in the right gear (and I've tried shifting down but doesn't improve things).
It's pretty minor most of the time but at certain points its a bit more intense. I had a mechanic drive in it with me today, I didn't have it booked in or anything but they we're happy to have a drive round to check it with me. They double checked that the wheel nuts we're tight, which they were. Then advised me to get it to a VW dealer to get it on their computers.
One thing they did mention was that EGR valve may need cleaning out, wondered if this is common. They also mention that AdBlue might be good to help things along.
Its in with the VW next Thursday for a free inspect, will mention to it them, I do have a 400 mile round trip at the weekend, bit concerned that this might not be a good idea, the garage I saw today didn't think it would be an issue with the van.
