@Pauly it wouldn't be cheating.I understand what has happened now, i have just been back to etka to look at key listings, they are based on pr codes, GX5 = right elec door & GZ5 = left elec door
I have ordered the key for GZ5 but when i look at the key listed for GX5 it has an identical part number, either one gets you the key i have
Theres either a mistake on etka or the left door only key doesnt exist (which i find hard to believe)
I can obviously order a 5 button key that has both doors on but that feels a bit like cheating
Think my only option is to find someone with and electric slider on the left only and get the part number off their key ?
Just a few thoughts...Looks like its not a mistake on etka as its repeated for newer tailgate vehicles
Then again two more entries for older and newer barn door T6
Did you get the files I sent over to paul, there’s some extra coding/adaption descriptions that aren’t in your spreadsheet.Just a few thoughts...
Just checked an old sheet (2017) of available sliding door combinations that were available here - though basic set is LHD. However, could have ordered even a RHD with sliding door only on left.
So, electric sliders were available only either only on right or both left and right. On that combination chart sliding door only left was not available with electric drives. Again, the RHD as factory order is rare up here so the combination list might not have been complete.
Anyways, the fact that you got the remote which sends command for right door and that the remote is specified also for left door a kind of suggests about a possibility that the BCM could be coded to pass the command (right door) to left door module - especially if in the UK exists vans with electric slider only on left. So either should find one for VCDS scan - or by trial and error reversing all the unknown coding/adaptation bits - would be an excellent opportunity to verify that VCDS's adaptations backup/restore function actually works .
PS. Just updated the coding/adaptations/blockmap Excel sheets in https://www.t6forum.com/threads/vcds-codes-list.4851/post-234830
The changes incorporated:
- recent VCDS updates for T6
- accepted by BCM adaptation values (for still unknowns)
- the results of electric sliding remote experiments - credit @Robert @Pauly
I’ve read through most of it and I understand most of it, I’ve got some extra adaption channels wrote down that just need confirming but I think are correct alsoYes i did mate thanks for that, will see what info we can get from them and add to the knowledge pool
Yes. Thanks, appreciated - looking forward to studying what's in thereDid you get the files I sent over to paul, there’s some extra coding/adaption descriptions that aren’t in your spreadsheet.
Just for reference purposes, (unedited) details of my original BCM below. And below is my current (onboard) BCM(second hand from unknown T6 most likely LHD ).
EDIT: FATIGUE DETECTION was already included.

Have you got it sorted yet?Key options for single sliders are
7E0837202AJ
7E0837202BS
7E0837202AG
7E0837202BR
and of course no google images for any of these other key numbers
my guess is they all look like mine ?
My vehicle is exactly the same as above but the fob is 202K .

Mine is exactly the same .
Any plans for demonstration video?
