It's all a load of big [red] number 2s!One has dropped to 189.9 here but most still 199.9. I thought 189.9 was good but seems people are getting better. Will this continue or will they find their big red number 2s?!

Did you pack a pushbike and a fuel canister? We filled up at Eindhoven prior to driving into France on Monday and it was €1.96 which is equivalent to £1.66.
I drove back from Arromanches on the Normandy coast, visiting the Mulberry harbours and arrived back at the campsite at 5 mins to 11pm, when they lock the gates (phew!) and the MPG shows 0 mpg!!
Looking for fuel as near to the campsite as possible tomorrow! (Gulp).
Did you get sorted Dave? Did you find fuel within range?@Bav funny you should ask that! My other half suggested I take a bike tomorrow when I go to fill up, incase I have to cycle to the garage to buy a fuel container and fuel.
Not yet, our teens are only just up and are monging around complaining about anything and everything!
There is a Leclerc around 2.7 km away so we should be fine.

The UK imports a larger proportion of its diesel than petrol I believe. Suspect that’s likely to be a factor in the widening price gap.I wonder why unleaded is dropping faster than diesel?
Historically it's usually been a 10p difference between the two but these reports are showing as much as a 20p difference now.
Time to start topping up only what you need for a few days rather than brimming the tank until prices settle again.
