Puncture: Replace or Repair?

I've had my works vans plugged before now, when similar has happened, but it will probably be up to the individual tyre fitter.
Hopefully its a bent nail and only one hole

Looks like a galvanised staple. Doubt if anyone will plug 2 holes like that. :(

Thats what I would do, if its good enough for a motorcycle tyre then it would be ok for the van.

I have used this and the stop and go tyre plugs on our car and daughters car, not had a puncture on the van yet...

If you're worried repair it and put it on the rear.

Disclaimer, just because I would do it doesn't mean that you should and if you do then its at your own risk etc etc.

EDIT- the rats tails as per the link posted by Simmo.

Will try n source some tyre strings locally tommorow, thinking a mtb shop most likely?
Will try tyre places for possible repair first but doesn't seem likely.
Was hoping to escape for a night in van after work tomorrow too.!
Thanks for the replies

Not sure you will get them from a MTB shop, try a motorcycle shop or your local BMW motorcycle dealer as they used to come with a slightly different plug kit in the bikes toolkit.

OK. Got a good motorcycle shop not too far away, BM dealer in town too.
Thanks

Found this little fella today, don't recall seeing it before! Any ideas if its a repair or nail? Not experiencing any issues with pressure.

If you've never seen it before and you've had that tyre a long time, i'd say it's something in the tyre.
Should repair though.

Could be wrong....but I've always thought repairs were always vulcanised rubber. No metal involved.
I'd put a bet on a screw.....going by the way it's spiraled rubber out of the hole.

I agree, very plausible its a screw. Hopefully should be just a minor repair.

Looks like some sort of wall fixing / Rawl plug type thing ?? Puncturing the tyre ?

Anyone know if this would fall within the legally repairable area?

Still holding air so either plugging the hole or wasn’t a long bolt. Only had them on 1 week so hoping they it is repairable. 7375A83A-DC3C-41D4-A77D-64AEE883EFA2.jpeg
