Remap ..... Just Can’t Decide On Which One

Only engine. No DSG

Thanks Oli I wasn’t sure as I thought I had seen a DSG map somewhere too.

I spoke to someone at Bognor a week or so back I think you had a day off, I need to call and book in and also speak to you regarding wheels at some point soon.

Just re-thinking the remap now as my dsg has sprung an oil leak again at the end of the warranty period and dont want to give vw any room not to fix it properly as the reseated plug obviously didn’t work.

Had mine in for a Revo Friday. Very impressed. The guys were very friendly and couldn't help enough, even to the point of letting me try one of there remapped vans before committing to a purchase.

I had a Pendle on my old T5 that gave me various issues and the man in charge (Martin) wasn't interested in fixing the problem and refused to help without paying again.
Needless to say he wasn't getting his hands on my T6 to f@#c up!!

One happy Revo customer here.

My new (to me) Kombi has 55,000 miles on the clock with 10 months VW warranty left so a remap might be a tad risky.

The 204 engine is fine when pulling away from a standstill and is fine once it's on the move but it feels a bit flat mid-range, accelerating up a slip road for example. I've started driving it in Sport mode more and more so today I booked it in at Pendle Performance for a remap next week!

Sod the warranty, I need more oomph... ;)

Well, today was the day! I dropped my van off with Martin at Pendle Performance HQ and returned a few hours later to find a different beast waiting for me :)

55 bhp increase from 202 to 257
99 Nm increase in torque from 449 to 545
I can't believe how responsive it is now, me and my son were practically giggling on our test drive earlier. Really pleased with it and worth every penny... :grin bounce:

Booked in for a Revo map at HQ in Daventry.
Spoke to Chris on your recommendation @DaveyB . Very happy to fit in a customer, even though they would usually steer you towards one of their dealers .
May 8th , looking forward to it .

Excellent, they’ll do you a good job.

Has anyone tried a superchips map on the euro 6? According to their site they are available

I had a superchips remap on an A6 and it was diabolical. Wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole ever again. Had it removed after they tried to sort it out a couple of times.

Ah really, two of my previous cars were mapped by them with no issues at all over a few years...

First time the wick was turned up so high it was really skittish; so took it back they looked at the sheets and said “um that’s not quite right”, so had another go, the power was better but the rate at which it went through it’s fuel was as though there was a hole in the tank. It was something like 100miles less across the course of a tank full.
