Removing Chrome Trim From Grill

How does the chrome trim on the grill come off?
I'd like to either spray it black or replace it with a black trim, does it just clip off?

Credit card and/or plastic trim tool and it prises off

You can remove the top plastic clips holding the grill to the body under the bonnet, pull the grill forward and get your hand behind and lift the retaining clips as well if its easier.

Planning trying this too but had not yet figured out getting trim off ( thanks ). Will be really quick and easy to vinyl wrap once off .

@zombie_T6 is right it’s easier of you can get your fingers on the clips makes it easier to get out of you put a bit of pressure from the rear

I undid the screws on the top of the grill to enable it to be pulled forward, pushed the top clips on the trim and it camr awsy quite easily. A 5 minute job. ☺

Ok just swapped the silver trim off my highline for the Matt black - deffo recommend using trim removers which eased them off without any breakages etc
