Hi all looking some advice on fitting a Renorgy DCC30S dc dc charger mppt controller to my t6. Seems its a common enough compoment but i can find the info im after regarding fitting to a t6. Vans got a 100w solar panel and im just going with an 95ah AGM battery all mounted below drivers seat,
Do i take the neg back to the starter batt or do i use the chassis ground ?
d+ signal wire im reading 3 different methods and not sure what route to take,. Pick up a ign feed or engine running feed from center fuse box or go down the BCM module route picking up on the AUX battery separating relay active.
Would also like to instal a battery shunt but would like to get my head round the main install first.
Any pointers most welcome.
cheers D

I have this and installed it late last year.
I'm no qualified auto electrician but here is my experience and setup.
Thick 16sqmm red cable from the vehicle battery to the input of the DCC. All neg cables (16sqmm) taken to a local chassis point under the seat.
Portable solar suit ase connects via a large Anderson connector. Vehicle ignition live taken under the cabin carpet (or rubber matt) to a fuse in the centre of the fuse section under the cabin dash, off a fuse jumper. I just bought the Fuse Add-a- jumper from Halfords. Smack bang in the middle of the fuse holders, centre column centre row (ish)

I can't comment of shunts as I don't have any. Fuse comes with the DC with detailed instructions.
