On barn door versions, there are grommets covering the tailgate fixing points.Hold upon the non-poptop+tailgate t6, are we saying there are grommets you can use to pass solar cable inside keeping the roof from having new holes?

Hi ... do you have more pictures when you made it? Also some pictures from insideView attachment 185286
I’ve gone through the existing grommets for the tailgate hinge but then I have barn doors. I use a portable panel when required
niceThese are the only other photos I have, on the inside the cables just run under the headlining and down the b pillar

Where did you get your vinyl from please? Also was it very difficult yo apply without getting bubbles underneath?Absolutely better to put the vinyl on, the paintwork underneath was untouched, and the new vinyl is on as I write.
They would wrap over the whole roof then cut out the solar panel afterwards.Slightly off topic but I’m thinking of getting my pop top vinyl wrapped as it’s suffering a Iot from weathering etc. I currently have a panel stuck to the roof, so do people think it would work to take the panel off wrap the roof then reattach the panel back to the wrap or as it’s stuck on already and has been for 5 years cut the wrap round the panel?
@Jollyvan had his T6 poptop wrapped for the same reason. They would wrap over the whole roof then cut out the solar panel afterwards.
Yeah this was the plan just wondering if it could be possible to get it off without damaging itThey would wrap over the whole roof then cut out the solar panel afterwards.
If you mean peel the wrap off the solar panel after it's been trimmed... Then yes no problem, it will peel off fine.... They will do all that for you.Yeah this was the plan just wondering if it could be possible to get it off without damaging it
I reckon you'll knacker the flexy panel if you try to peel it off but given the panel is five years old you're probably on borrowed time with it already. No, I meant get the panel off the roof without damaging it then wrap under it but I’m not sure why now.
