Safari windows fitted

Just had all our windows fitted around the van and fully carpeted...electrics ready for the next step
Opted for the Safari windows on both sides and wow they look amazing!!! So glad we went for these. The size of the window opening huge, looking forward to the next trip.
Just got to watch your head on them when you walk outside the van

I'm really tempted by these! Do you have standard VW rear tinted glass...how does the tint of the safari windows compare if so?

Yes we got all the 5 windows from Camperglass...was the box van until this week...all tinted/privacy rear tailgate, safari both sides, rear qtr and otherside rear qtr dummy....all look the same tbh

Not that I've heard. Done quite alit of research before we bought them,they have all the proper seals on them

No we have done research, but definitely would recommend. We had an old T4 with the small sliding window and these make soooo much more of a difference!

Think my bank account is about to take a hit ! I was looking at replacing just the drivers side sliding window, but might as well do the side door window too! Appreciate the helpful comments and pics @NatMc24 and @Rioja John

Haha got to do what makes you happy yeh we were trying with getting the one or two safari windows....glad we choose the two.
We had to wait 6weeks for one for one of them to come in stock at CamperGlass

Well the bank account lives for another day, only the drivers side available atm. I’ve stuck my email address down for an alert when the pair is available from camper glass. Hoping sooner rather than later!

Amazing glad you went for it! Yes we were the same. We had the driverside Safari and the other windows sitting in our garage, we ordered them incase they went out of stock, then waited for the email for the passenger side...think that was 6weeks later

Back in stock overnight! Ordered both, due for delivery this week. Even managed 5% off, searching the forum for a discount code (chambers5). Just wondering if it’s worth buying some window trim? Anyone know the likely hood of damaging the trim when removing the window?
