SCR problem

Anyone had issues with SCR ? Error fault coming up at garage and possibly need to replace . Hugely expensive. Is it a VW fault? Van has only 53000 on clock regularly serviced and no issues with AD blue etc.

What is shown on the dashboard, and what error codes have been read by you or the garage ?

I’ll find out tomorrow Pete. Garage is closed today . Had been having dashboard Stop start light on and before that ABS light which was fixed . No AD blue lights at all . So asked garage to have another look te stop start and the diagnostic came back saying SCR. Had noticed cooling fan after stopping car after a journey was running for ages but otherwise van running well. ( 2017 van) don’t know if fan was related but after first fix it seems ok now.
