Hi folks

Contemplating maybe tackling this job, anyone done it and if you have, any advice/pointers on how difficult it was? I've got factory heated seats so assuming the heated pads just remain on the existing seat foam pad. Dont have any side airbags etc. Thanks in advance.

Contact Luke at Spartan upholstery

Good price and top designs
You can even have your own design made to your likening

Same price or less of seat surgeons but fitted

I got quoted £1400 for the 2 front and a 2+1 rear.

Hi
Yes there the sort of prices
A front drivers and a double plus rock and roll bed including ply bases and foam are approx £1250 / £1300

Don’t forger Luke fits them aswell in the price

Like is very approachable and will help you design your own style of seat if you have someone in mind

In my opinion the Harris tweed are best but if you have kids and dogs the R design are prefect as they wipe down

Any more questions please ask or drop Luke a email

Cheers
Andy

Did you get any further with diy fit of Seat Surgeons leather kit?
not yet, I picked up a bargain set on fleabay for £200 but they didn't come with headrest or armrest covers. My old dear handy with the sewing machine and has an industrial one she used for sail making and I finally managed to get exact match faux leather so soon as she makes up the missing parts I'm gonna have a go. Bit nervous about taking my seats apart so watch this space...………………………...

Sounds like you got a bargain, it would be good to know how you get on as I'm thinking of doing the same.

keep you posted, old dear has ordered up some leather needles so hopefully she might get cracking this week once they arrive.

Has anyone fitted a seat surgeons kit themselves, do they come with instructions? £600 for a full leather interior seams like a bargain to me, seriously considering it although I've never done seat upholstery before. How hard can it be? Any special tools required?

Hog rings and pliers maybe, not had the seats apart on mine but if they are typical vag they will be fitted with them
